WHY IS THE PRESIDENT REFUSING TO DISCLOSE HIS ASSETS?

During a media chat this week, President Jonathan adamantly rejected the idea of disclosing his assets, on the flimsy excuse that it should be a personal decision. In his words, “I don’t give a damn…”
What? Someone needs to tell Jona that the seat of the presidency of Nigeria is not a “personal affair”. The laws of this land override whatever distastes that he has. By virtue of his ascendance to that seat, he became subject to public scrutiny.  Also, if he intends to act tough, he should do so with respect to the security challenges the country faces and stop being a “Consoler-in Chief”!  What do you think?
